This Committee was formed at the request of the Temple Town Meeting March 2024. Its purpose is to examine and develop an ongoing plan for capital expenditures by the Town. By creating such a plan, it allows the Town to anticipate major expenditures through budgetary forecasting, thus aiding in a more stable cost of town government. Another benefit of a Capital Improvements Program (CIP), when coupled with a Master Plan, is that it allows the Town to monitor the impact of future development. This plan is a living document, being revised and re-evaluated on an annual basis. As the Town's needs change, so will the document.

After a lot of hard work, the Capital Improvement Committee has completed a Capital Improvement Plan. Copies are available at the Municipal Building. We hope this is an aid to the townspeople of Temple in making sound and responsible decisions for the future of the town.
